Devlog < 2021

In 2021, I started this project by diving into information architecture and visualization, envisioning the web as a richer and more intentional knowledge graph. The research of the year led me to many of the past efforts to build a "Semantic Web", from Vannevar Bush's essay on the Memex to Tim Berners Lee's original definition of "Web 3.0". As my efforts on the knowledge graph shifted from just visualization to the philosophy of distributed data perspectives and ownership, the whole project began to shift to the larger project of what I now call the Coalescent Computer.
